Hi, I’m Ashlyn (Ash) Fieldhouse!

I am a scientific visualizer and designer with an eye for communication and problem solving.

I am currently at the University of Toronto in the Master’s of Science in Biomedical Communications program, one the few internationally accredited programs of it’s kind. As part of this program, I am focusing on the communication of complex information using various media, including scientific illustration, 2D/3D animation, and interactive media.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) degree from Queen’s University, where the focus of my work was communicating scientific principles through visual media. Along with my courses in visual art and design, I took as many physiology, molecular biology, genetics, neurobiology, and cognitive psychology courses as possible, as well as courses in the humanities which elevated my communication skills.
