Corona Radiata

Anatomical Illustration, Medical Illustration, Neuroanatomy

Description

For this project, I chose a topic that I struggled to conceptualize while learning neuroanatomy, namely the three-dimensional structure of the corona radiata and its associated structures. I created this study aid to help conceptualize what the corona radiata looks like, and how it connects to the brainstem and the cerebral cortex. In addition, the structure of the corona radiata is described in relation to its associated projections to the primary motor cortex.
